Total Hospital Nursing Experience: 26 years

I started my nursing journey in 1999 in Chicago, Illinois, as a certified nursing assistant. I worked for Cook County Hospital, where I encountered a lot of critically ill patients. I saw how loving and caring the nurses were,  so I decided to further my education and become a nurse. I love caring for people who are sick and helpless. I obtained my Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License which I worked with for 3 years and later obtained my Registered Nurse (RN) degree, which I have worked with for the past 15 years. I am very passionate about what I do. 

I currently work as an Ortho/ Trauma Charge nurse for a large non profit Hospital. I am very excited about being a member of this organization because I get to give back to the community without expectation. I get to love, care, donate, and help my DFW community in maintaining their health through our annual free health check ups; feed the homeless and donate towards their health and well-being.
